Transformer Oil
- Chemical and gas analyzes of transformer insulation oil
- Conducting the treatment process of Transformer insulation oil Insulation Oil is used in transformers for both insulation and cooling (dissipating the heat generated in the windings to the atmosphere). It also gives very valuable information about the current state of the transformer. The performance of the oil also affects the performance of the transformer. The tests performed on oils give healthy information about both the quality of the oil and the performance of the transformer and are carried out with the aim of taking the necessary precautions. An ideal transformer oil is expected to have a voltage resistance of 60 kV. Windings in power transformers and current and current-carrying parts must be designed to withstand the rated (nominal) voltage and frequency continuously, and to withstand overvoltage impulses for a certain period of time.
